- Dashboard access for managing goals and viewing history
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
4. Phone Calls and Communications
By providing your phone number and using the Service, you consent to receive automated phone calls from Checkmate for accountability calls. You understand that:
- Calls are made by an AI system, not human operators
- Calls may be recorded for quality improvement and to generate summaries
- You can modify or cancel your call schedule at any time through the dashboard
- Standard carrier rates may apply for incoming calls
- The Service will attempt to reach you at your scheduled time, with retry attempts if unavailable
5. Subscription and Payments
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Provide valid payment information
- Price changes with 30 days notice for existing subscribers
Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service.

Checkmate is not a substitute for professional advice, therapy, or coaching. The Service is intended for personal goal tracking and accountability only.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHECKMATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so through the dashboard settings or by contacting us.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
